Weather
Q. Do you run courses in Winter?
A. Yes! We’re lucky to have great weather all year round although we do stop all courses for three weeks between December and January to take a break ourselves.
Getting Here
Q. Will I be able to get a taxi from the airport to the marina/my accomodation?
A. Yes. You will find many taxis waiting outside the airport. Alternatively, you can let us know that you require a taxi and we can sort it out for you.
Practical Courses
Q. What should I bring to my practical course?
A. Sunblock (Factor 50), hat, sunglasses. In Summer, you’ll need mostly light clothing and a light jacket for the rare occasions where it gets cold in the evenings onboard. In winter, do not forget waterproof trousers, a waterproof jacket and the correct footwear.
Cancellations
Q. I’ve paid my place on the course but I’d like to cancel now. May I?
A. You may, although your refund is not guaranteed. Depending on how close to the course date you cancel, we will be able to give you a percentage refund unless we find someone to fill your place, in which case we will refund you in full.
We will not be able to refund you if you decide to leave the course once this has begun.
