It is an introduction to basic navigational techniques, together with safety and seamanship.This is an ideal course for users of small craft. So if you have a RIB, small day boat or a small inshore fishing boat then this course could be for you.

Course Overview:

A course for people who are using small craft. It provides an understanding of who has right of way, how to get to grips with marine weather forecasts and their local implications, what is a sea chart and how are they best used. Above all it explains boat safety and safety equipment.

RYA Basic Navigation and Safety Certificate.
